Mother of Victory Shrine – Tikujiniwadi, Thane, Maharashtra – India (Diocese of Kalyan)
The statue of Mother of Victory at Tikujiniwadi was brought from the well known pilgrim centre at Wigratzbad in Germany, where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared several times between 1919 and 1938. Today the Shrine at Wigratzbad, which is dedicated to “Our Beloved Lady, Mother of Victory”, attracts pilgrims from various parts of Europe.
On February 2, 2003, Mar Thomas Elavanal, Bishop of Kalyan Diocese, unveiled the statue of Mother of Victory at Tikujiniwadi, in the presence of Rev. Fr. Thomas Maria Rimmel, Director of the Pilgrim Centre at Wigratzbad and declared the Shrine as the first Marian Pilgrim Centre of Kalyan Diocese.
On Wednesdays, Novenas are offered to the Mother, in Marathi, Malayalam and in English, followed by Eucharistic adoration and healing service. Thousands of pilgrims visit the Shrine throughout the year, praying to the Mother of Victory for various needs and thanking her for the favours received through her intercession.
The Feast of the Mother of Victory, celebrated in the month of November, is popular all over Maharashtra when devotees in large number visit the Shrine, regardless of religion and language.

Welcome to be a member of Social Security Scheme
- Social Security Scheme is one of the Most populous Social action ventures of Kalyan Diocese Established on 01st April 1995, the Scheme has completed 28 years of commendable service. The Scheme has disbursed Rs. 2,59,97,156 as on 31.03.2023 as fraternity benefit to nominees of deceased members.
- SALIENT FEATURES OF THE SCHEME
- Membership is strictly restricted to the members of Kalyan Diocese.
- The members shifting out of Kalyan Diocese can continue with the Scheme. Now with online payment system members can make yearly contribution from anywhere in the world.
- Age limit - Between 18 years to 60 years.
- Membership /Entrance fee - Rs. 350.
- Mode of Membership - By online application at the website sss.kalyandiocese.com or by submission of duly filled Membership forms to Social security Scheme office.
- Documents required -
- (1) Age proof ( Any Government issued document)
- (2) Parish recommendation letter ( Stamped and signed by Vicar).
- Those who are not able to submit the documents through online can fill up Membership forms available with Social Security Scheme promoters and submit to SSS office with payment of Rs. 350 and duly filled Membership forms with stamp and signature of Parish Vicar.
- SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME MEMBERS OBLIGATIONS
- Continuity of the Membership is subject to payment of yearly fraternity @ Rs.10 each for the first 50 deceased members of the Scheme + Rs. 5 for rest of the deceased members of the Scheme + Rs. 20 Annual Subscription.
- For example, during the Financial Year 2022- 23 our 60 members departed for heavenly abode. The contribution amount payable in Financial Year 2023- 24 is Rs. 570 (Rs. 500 + 50 + 20).
- BENEFITS OF THE SCHEME
- When a member expires, the nominee gets fraternity benefit in the following slabs
- (A) If the death occurs within 6 months of joining - NIL
- (B) If the death happens between 6 months to 1 year, fraternity amount would be 12,000.
- (C) For every completed years thereafter, the amount increases by Rs. 1,500.
- (D) Membership of 25 years and above gets Rs. 50,000 (maximum).
- # The members surviving 25 years are conferred with Golden Members and exempted from payment of all subsequent subscriptions .
